Will my child/family feel welcome? Absolutely! Whether your child begins the school year with us or joins us mid-year, you will find a “family atmosphere” here at Grace. We do offer several events leading up to the first day of school to help with those “back to school” jitters. New parents are encouraged to attend our “New Parent Orientation”, students are encouraged to join us for “Meet the Teacher” where they can see the classroom, meet classmates, drop off school supplies and of course meet their new teacher! Our Parent Teacher Fellowship, PTF, also hosts a “New Moms Brunch” to encourage alumni moms to reach out to our new moms and begin fostering new friendships. We also offer “Kleenex & Coffee” on the first day of school. We know it is hard for parents to say good-bye as they watch their child move into the next phase of their education – it can be bitter sweet! And what is better than talking it through with other school parents, while munching on goodies and drinking coffee? After your done taking that last photo, sending that last wave and blowing kisses, make sure to join us! We will also have plenty of Kleenex, just in case you need it!
