Summer Enrichment Camp FAQ

Q. What are your expectations for campers?

A. We expect campers to demonstrate respect toward all staff members and fellow campers at all times. We expect campers to act responsibly, be kind to others, keep all facilities clean, and follow simple directions. Students dismissed for behavioral reasons will not be eligible to receive a refund.

Q. What about cell phones, iPods, iPads, and electronic games?

A. We ask that if your camper brings a cell phone to GCS Summer Enrichment Camps that it remain in a book bag, backpack, or tote so that it is not accessible during the day. Any participant who uses one of the mentioned devices during the day will be asked to put it away. GCS is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Q. What should my camper bring to camp? Where do I drop off/pick up my camper?

A. All families will receive an email approximately one week before the start date of camp with specific camp details regarding location of drop-off and pick-up, and what to bring for camp.

Q. How do I reach camp staff members during the day?

A. Email summercamp@gcs-email.org or call the school office at (949) 951-8683.

Q. Is lunch included?

Q. How will my camper’s summer be enriched?

A. Campers will be enriched through a culmination of reading, science, engineering, and math activities where your camper will learn important concepts without realizing they are learning.
